Over the last seven years, Nancy has been a part of the wine industry in just about every capacity possible. From working at Five Points Bottle Shop to various bars around Athens she really learned her way around the restaurant and bar scene. She joined the FourCoursemen right after Matt joined in late 2006.
Nancy likes to brag the most about her 1972 El Camino but we like to brag about her sommelier certifications. In 2008, Nancy left her sales representative job at wine distributor Avant Partir, representing the likes of Robert Chadderdon and Joe Bastianich, to pursue a career in the non-profit sector. She began working for Champions Made From Adversity, an organization working to improve the lives of the physically disabled, both civilian and military, through sport. She recently got married (the proposal was over a 4CM dinner!) and is very much enjoying wedded life with her new hubby. These days she’s back in the wine world freelance writing an occasionally consulting.
