That’s right!!!! Unless you were in the dining room last Saturday, you are the first to hear that we have a one hour television special airing on Cooking Channel on November 22nd! We have been dying to tell all of you about this but have been unable to. Now that Cooking Channel has officially announced the air dates we are FINALLY able to let everyone know about it and thank all of you for supporting us over the years. It is your genuine interest and enthusiasm that has made this possible… and maybe a little bit of cooking on our part.
So what is it about? Why would anyone want to put us on TV? Hahahah. The FourCoursemen has always been about learning, challenging ourselves, and hopefully inspiring you to try some new things in the kitchen the next time you cook. Our dinners focus on cooking with quality sustainable ingredients and sharing our creations with Athens and anyone else who wants to travel into town to eat with us (Thanks to all of you out-of-towners who have made the trip. You know who you are!). This television show is the result of us wanting to share what we do here in Athens with a larger crowd by taking it on the road and actually meeting, and introducing the world to, the producers of the finest sustainable meats, cheeses, wines, vegetables, and any other ingredients that we would like to learn more about. At its essence it is about us taking you on a journey around the country, and eventually the world (if we’re lucky), to learn with us as we explore the towns and farms of people who are as passionate about the food they produce as we are about cooking it. On a deeper level, it is about connecting the people in towns with their local producers of quality food, and inspiring viewers to explore their towns to find their local producers. If you have enjoyed a dinner with us in Athens, you understand the impact fresh local ingredients will have on your cooking. It’s hard to go wrong when you are starting with quality ingredients right?
This is a unique and exciting show about good food, friends, lifestyle, learning and travel. Think of us as the conduit between the farmer and the diner. We will still be cooking a five course dinner with paired wines for a small intimate dinner crowd as we always do. Only now, each episode will take us to a different town we choose based on farmers or producers of some ingredient that intrigues us. We will learn from those farmers and producers what it is about their process that makes the quality of their products so much higher than the rest. More importantly, we will get a chance to cook a dinner that shows off the quality of those ingredients to the locals we meet along the way, who will be invited to dine with the farmers and producers at the dinner we create. This also means that you will see us exploring the towns we visit, meeting good people in those towns and, in some cases, relying on them to let us cook in their kitchens. Dust off those pots and pans America! By the time we leave each town, we hope to have created an unforgettable dining experience for the people there that will inspire them to challenge themselves culinarily and start using quality ingredients from the producers they met when they dined with us.
So what can you expect in the show that airs on November 22nd? I’m not going to spoil the surprise for you! You’ll just have to tune in to find out. I will leave you with a few photos as a teaser and tell you simply that we could not start down a path like the one we are embarking on without first paying homage to our beloved hometown of Athens and the beautiful state of Georgia in this episode. You are sure to learn about some amazing food resources you never knew about that exist right in our back yard. I definitely did and I promise I came away with a deeper love and respect for this place.
So tweet, beep, email, call, scream, sing, text, Facebook, release the carrier pigeons, do whatever you can to tell your friends to tune in on one of the scheduled dates that the show airs. Click here for a link to the schedule. Thanks again everyone! We are very excited about this and hope you enjoy the show. We definitely had a blast making it and look forward to many more. Stay tuned because we will be updating you all on other happenings related to the show as they develop. We may even have a little premiere party for you all here in Athens.
Oh, and don’t worry, we will still be doing dinners here in Athens!
Love,
The Four Coursemen

Came across the show entirely by chance last night, and was so excited to realize it was NANCY and crew! Caught most of it – loved it, but was left hungry.
Setting it up to record next time it airs so that I can see the beginning. Very, very awesome to see you all on there. Also very interesting & entertaining to watch, and made me proud to see Georgia looking so good!
Well-deserved congrats to all.
Abigail! It sounds like you are just going to have to come eat with us! Thanks for getting in touch and for watching the show!
Great show. Checked out your website and can’t wait to visit Athens so I can dine! Best of luck to you all and thanks for sharing.
Where can I buy the pork you featured on the show? My sister lives very near Athens and will be visiting me in North Florida soon. I also am in the restaurant business and would like to turn our chef on to the pork as well as the Overton Dairy. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Fun food:)
Hi Jojo. Thanks for the comments! We are excited you liked the show and Tim and Natures Harmony will be as well! You can get more info on Nature’s Harmony on their website: http://www.naturesharmonyfarm.com/
Please tell your friends about the show! It airs 6 more times and we are hoping to get as many people watching it as possible! We want to do more episodes and the more eyes in this one the better!
Best,
T4C
We loved the show on the cooking channel just as we’ve loved the dinners with the Four Coursemen. Great group of people, great food, and great sourcing.
I was shocked to hear the words “Elberton Georgia” on the cooking channel last night as your episode was airing. I was even more shocked to learn about Nature’s Harmony! (i’m not a native here). The show was absolutely fantastic and I am an instant fan

Hello! I happened across your show a couple of nights ago and fell in love! Not only did the food look absolutely delicious, but your passion is infectious. I love your use of local products and attention to detail to each ingredient. It reminds me of why I love to cook. Now if only I had friends that liked to cook with me, not just watch me cook and then eat! I recorded it hoping to get the whole series and just read your post…I hope there are more in the future!
Thanks for sharing!

saw the show Sunday night was scrolling through the guide during the first commercial to see when the next episode was and then realized it was a special. Awesome show, learned a lot, interested in even more. Living right down the road in Eatonton, Ga and had know idea the stuff yall had going on. Really hoping you get picked up for more shows. Good luck guys!
It was so exciting to see your show tonight! I am a food freak who recently went vegetarian, because I am angered by the industrial meat industry. My parents think I’m crazy, because I only eat locally grown meat from small family farms. I’m a freshman in college, but I find myself buying my own food more often, even going to the farmer’s market when I’m craving meat. Your show highlights how important it is to utilize these local ingredients and flavors in our cooking. I strongly encourage you to look into coming to my hometown Richmond, Virginia. We have many foodies, and after attending the local farmer’s markets I have come to realize how many local food ingredients are available.
I found myself in tears of joy at the end of the special. I was fortunate to visit Carbondale a few years back and I happened on this show on demand that I had never heard of. Imagine the coincidence of it all and a show this good, what a wonderful discovery, Hope I can see more!
